Dr. Nick J. Savastano
Dr. Nick J. Savastano has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontic care since 2003. After graduating from Winthrop University in 1996 cum laude, he attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry where he received his dental degree graduating #3 in his class with high honors. During his senior year, Dr. Savastano completed an advanced education honors program in orthodontics. Also, while at the University of Florida he was honored with the Stephen D. Keeling Research of Excellence award.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Savastano completed his orthodontic residency and earned a Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology from Ohio State University, one of the top orthodontic schools in the country. During his orthodontic training, Dr. Savastano performed research on the validation of orthodontic outcomes, which has been published in The American Journal of Orthodontics.
An esteemed member of the dental and orthodontic community, Dr. Savastano stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in his field by maintaining memberships with many professional organizations such as the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. Additionally, he was a member of the Cleft Lip & Palate Craniofacial Team in central Florida over the last 15 years. Dr. Savastano has over 15 years of experience in private practice and has treated over 500 Invisalign cases in that time and recently moved back to his home state of South Carolina. Dr. Savastano and his wife Jennifer have four beautiful children and they both enjoy fitness, travel and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Justin Garrett
Dr. Justin Garrett attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate work where he was a history major. Once he moved to Charleston in 2003, he decided to pursue orthodontics and studied science at the College of Charleston before attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school at the top of his class, he went on to attend Saint Louis University where he won the Resident Case Display, which is the top nationwide award granted by the American Board of Orthodontics.
